As a part of the project I represented popular Georgian motifs that are dear to me with illustrations.
Mamalo
This is a type of candy that is very familiar to everyone who was raised in Georgia. As a kid I used to love it, it was full of sugar, color, and energy. One element that I love the most is light refractions, they bring life and joy to candy that could otherwise be generic.
Khachapuri Planet
Khachapuri, an iconic Georgian dish that is dear to the hearts of everyone who had an opportunity to indulge themselves in it. Georgia is truly a Khachapuri planet.
Wearable Art
People often say that fashion is wearable art, in this illustration, I combined traditional and modern Georgian artworks into a robed female silhouette. .
Georgian Shepherd
Georgian Shepherd is one of my favorite breeds, this dog breed has been endangered in the 90's and early 2000's however it has been raising steadily for the last couple of years, this illustration represents its rise to the top.
